Angela Chen, MS, Scientist II

At Arkuda, Angela supports the biology group with primary screening and chemistry inventory as well as the translational sciences group by working to liaise and manage outsourced PK/PD efforts and animal colonies. Having had a grandmother pass away from dementia, she’s seen the impact neurodegenerative diseases have not just on patients, but also on their caregivers and loved ones.

Angela has over a decade of industry experience working in neurodegeneration and has studied a multitude of diseases. Her experience in both in vivo pharmacology and industry allows her to be effective in communicating and managing preclinical experiments, streamline lab operations, and implement policies in a fast-paced environment.
